Its no secret that people of color and the queer community face economic and institutional challenges when it comes to garnering support for their higher education careers. This scholarship fund provides mentorship and financial support for individuals interested in art-based higher education.  

 

We will provide new laptops, materials and books for winners of the scholarship, so they can have access to the necessary technology and materials that will hone their skills and allow them to reach the top of their class.

 

This scholarship is funded by artists and designers who understand the cost of any creative major and have a desire to lift up future creatives. Awardees of this scholarship will commit to mentoring future scholarship recipients, proliferating the cycle of artists helping artists.
